The first day of planting was full of big hopes and enthusiasm. The hard work of digging the beds was over and the fun part was starting. Students planted radishes, tomatoes, peppers, peas, squash, sweet potatoes, sunflowers, beans, edamame, potatoes, lettuce, radished, cilantro, strawberries, various melons and more. Some crops might've been planted a little early and some a little too late but it is a learning curve and you never know about the weather.
